Just a few points slighty off topic i know but,

Can you remember a few months back we were linked with him and now its Liverpool!!!!!

Personally i think he''s a very good goalkeeper and Newcastle have been goin great since he came into the side for Given.

Does anyone else think he could be worth a shout for England amongst all the problems we have with keepers and now he''s playin regular football?

Not even close to being as good as David James.

Probably only linked with Liverpool to get a better deal at Newcastle. He''s hardly likely to replace Reina (not that I rate Reina that highly). He''s spent most of his career being backup at Newcastle, I can''t see him moving to Liverpool just to be backup.

Funny cos I was only talking about him the other day. Years ago I used to watch Hartlepool when he was on loan there and you could see he was Prem standard. Seems strange to me that people are prepared to just basically sit on their backsides picking up their wages when it seems that they arent really gona get the chance for a decent first team run. Wheres the pride in that?? But then i guess goalkeeping is a strange profession, suppose you''re essentially waiting for the number one to have a bad injury and give you your chance.

Yeh or it could be that he wants to be at Newcastle forever, as he is from Newcastle?
