dylanisabaddog 6,149 Posted January 11, 2008 It appears that bringing Iliev over here was a complete waste of time as h won''t be able to get a work permit. It is Neil Doncaster''s job to make sure that things like this don''t happen. He has let the club down again. If we end up losing out on Taylor because we were hoping to sgn Iliev instead I hope Doncaster finally gets what he deserves. Cheerio 0 Posted January 11, 2008 You dont know the full story so give it a rest. While you''re sat with your plates up watching Corry Doncaster and crew are working all the hours possible to make things happen. This may well have been a diverion, it may well still happen (we''re not the only people looking for a CB or two.Ask your mum for another cup of tea...... you must be exhausted

Personaly I think they knew the issues before he came over. The "trial" or so it has been called was in place with the knowledge that this could take time, that way the player doesn''t look a fool kicking his heals in a hotel all week. That and at least he will have trained with the team for several days more than he would have. If you sign someone now - you want them up to speed not suddenly in, especially if they are from a european league.I still have hopes of seeing more on this deal, I don''t think Roeder has given it up, just covering his and the players back.
