Bryan Gunn 0 Posted October 21, 2007 I think hes just signed a new contract with Chelsea, and I''m willing to bet he gets paid a lot more money to be a coach than we are offering for a manager!I''ve always wondered whether Clarke and coaches like Pat Rice are actually top class coaches or just happened to be the loyal club servants when a great foriegn manager took over and kept on as a link to the players (and fans).Boltons start to the season has ben another example of how top class coaches don''t equal a top class manager, though I think Sammy Lee has been treated a bit harshly.
