The one person who did incur Grant''s wrath was the fourth official - Mr Mathieson. The two ''enjoyed'' a verbal war all afternoon - presumeably for the ever-animated Grant straying a yard outside his technical area.

"I think they are the worst thing that have been invented in the game - they should make the subs and just shut their mouths the rest of the time," said Grant. "What were we arguing about? Everything. State of the pitch, state of the weather, the colour of the grass. Everything. He was a disgrace."

This is definitely an improvement on Worthington!

you beginning to warm to peter grant what a joke ,this amaze me just because pg tips has a big mouth and hasnt got a clue what he is doing you think it makes him a better manager ,i wonder if you will say this when we are in league 1.

and dont blame worthy for that because he has gone.

There has been no improvement , and if he does not get his 3 or 4 new signings in before the window closes he will be about as popular as Worthington was.

You make a lot of assumptions king.

I have never posted that I think Grant is a better manager than Worthington. There are somethings that I prefer about his style, one of them being that his interviews are more "colourful".

Answer me this one question KOL if Worthington was still here would we be in the playoffs or where we currently are?
