Balham Yellow

Tirade should have been reserved for the players.

I appreciate that Grant is working with players that were not of his choosing but they should be the focus of his vitriol not the crowd.  The crowd were very quiet on Saturday but quite honestly what was there to get excited about?  It was another desperately poor game, offering little or nothing in terms of entertainment.  As a season ticket holder living in south London travelling to the game pretty much wipes out Saturday entirely and when you see performances such as Saturdays (particularly having spent the previous Sunday at Portman Road) you wonder whether it''s worth the time and effort.  I hope that Grant is given a reasonable sum of money to spend come January and we will be in a better position to judge him.  In the meantime I think he would be better served trying to drag a performance out his current squad rather than berate a loyal if somewhat frustrated support.

Considering the support the players received at Portman Road I am also surprised that Grant seems to think theat the fans should beon the receving end of any criticism.  The teams performances since he took charge haven''t been convincing, and the effort and commitment of a lot of the players appears to be lacking.

I just hope he manages to sign some players of real quality during January.
