Cluck 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I''ve heard a rumour from a friend who''s uncle once knew someone else who knew......that........English football clubs will soon be asked to consider a name change in order to bring them in line with the Cricket, Basketball, Rugby League/Union...and Speedway clubs. They have the likes of the Bradford Bulls...Sale Sharks....Reading Bulldogs etc etc.......I presume Norwich will become the Norwich Canaries......but I note Ipswich don''t really have a traditional name other than ''Town''.......I''m wondering if we can come up with any suggestions that we could forward on to them as a neighbourly gesture of goodwill........Any ideas that might get past the moderators?I thought of the Ipswich Sphincters......It has a certain ''ring'' to it I think?
