canarychris 0 Posted October 2, 2006 sorry, but i''ve always liked Dion as a player and found it difficult to watch a player yesterday who was a shadow of a very good player from the 90''s.As much as i would love to see him be a success it was blatantly obvious from yesterday that his legs have a gone and he is no more than a last 20 mins nuisance player these days.It doesn''t matter who the new manager is, not even Yuri Geller can turn back time.... blahblahblah 2 Posted October 2, 2006
Jeremy Paxman is experienced, intelligent and articulate
We''d never get Paxman, he''s on a cushy number at the beeb, and our location is too remote. Not to mention the half-time talks. No good asking the same question 36 times just because you don''t like the answer, the players have to be back on the pitch in 15 minutes !
blahblahblah 2 Posted October 2, 2006
It doesn''t matter who the new manager is, , not even Yuri Geller can turn back time....
We''d never get Yuri Geller, he''s too closely affiliated to Exeter City, and since he fell out with Wack Jacko he tries to restrict his work to guest appearances on channel 5 and reality TV.Not to mention the seats are made of metal ! All it would take is for him to get really stressed in the dug-out and all the subs (and the fans 3 rows in) would be picking themselves up off the floor !
