dr livingstone 0 Posted September 1, 2006 i have just read doncasters column in the edp. i cant help thinking he is pulling the wool over our eyes.all that cr*p he goes on about how time consuming these transfers are.why mr doncaster can sunderland sign 6 players in one day. with a manager whose only been there 2 days ?if you cannot do your job better its time to leave. blahblahblah 2 Posted September 1, 2006 Sunderlands'' transfers were staged to happen on the last day of the transfer window, nothing more obvious than that.Keane was going to take over a week ago. They''ve been looking at these players for ages, it just all came together on the last day.I''d rather have our start to the season than theirs.I''d also rather have a settled first 11, rather than a squad that needs to adjust to 6 new players.
