WalthamCanary 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I know this is totally irrelevant really but are we currently 6th or 7th? The BBC has us in 6th postion ahead of Luton whilst most others put us in 7th behind them. Both clubs have exactly the same Gd and goals for and against. If we''re 6th - is it because we beat Luton and therefore have the better record between the clubs? If we''re in 7th is it purely down to alphabetical order? As I said I know this is pretty pointless stuff but ist buggin me.. I guess I wanna know how it would be decided if this was the case come the end of the season. nik wyer 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I think if both teams have same points and same goal difference, it then goes down to goals scored first, then if its still the same goals conceded, if it is still the same, i think its down to how teams fared against each other, if its still the same i believe its down to drawing lots, but atthis stage of the season its pretty academic, and some go on alphabetical order, and some on the correct way.
