Why Worthy is Like George Bush

Recommended Posts

Inept, but surrounds himself in very competent people.

I think that''s a bit harsh, i don''t think NW is inept, but if people

are going to put this improved play down to Mr Hunter, NW must at least

take some credit for bringing him in. Or was it all down to ND, not NW?

I also think, despite what people have said about his man mnagement, he

has dealt with Colin and Dickson well for them to come back playing

like they are, especially considering the frustration of their first

season with us.

I think it works like this:

Any success is nothing to do with Worthington, any failure is because of him.

He has to take credit for building the confidence in the players over the summer and the employment of Hunter.  That said we have only seen two games so far and the opinions on this forum have swung quicker than an MP getting to the bowl at a "bring your car keys" party.  It''s two games, it''s not an indicator of how the entire season will pan - there are still 40 odd games to go.  Lets not get too excited or too downhearted, it''s too early to tell.

Not sure, is this following on from an earlier thread that I''ve missed, but, whatever, in the most simplistic terms doesn''t George Bush take decisions which result in lots of innocent people being killed? Don''t think there''s anyone on this site, is there, that thinks Worthy''s sunk quite that low?
