lucky green trainers 0 Posted July 9, 2006 does anybody know what dean marney is doing, and if he''s fit again - should we try to sign him again on a season long loan? its seemed to me he offered an acceptable presence on the right wing, more than hendo or hughes, although i was not as convinced by him in the middle of the park. get the player here is what i say - as obviously we can''t compete with the likes of leeds or palace for the obvious talents of darren currie. Ipswich signed him at the right moment and I am not sure if he is really up to the task we require at the moment.We need to have some youngish players in there that could addapt to the premiership, not a squad of players that will get us there but will struggle to keep up with the pace of prem football.Please if Currie is all Leeds and Palace can afford to fight over then I am really not worried about them as competition.
