pete 371 Posted January 21, 2021 Norwich City well we all know how well they are playing, looking likely champions at this early stage. Not going to state this as definite too pessimistic too predict I'll wait until we get the next 40 points. Best away record in the league and second best home record speak volumes. Lets look at the form of the contenders Swansea best form of the rest and look second best. Swansea v Brentford and Norwich at home in the coming weeks will give us a better idea of their credentials two wins there and we can become concerned. Brentford are certainly in good form but scraping a 1-0 against Luton was a poor result. Swansea game will be interesting both on long unbeaten runs but not as points full as us, someone is going to be disappointed a draw will suit us just fine. Bournemouth one point from 3 winnable games is unacceptable from previous favourites not good enough running out of steam. Watford best at home but away form appalling form from a promotion contender, need to improve markedly expect to see Xisco down the road quite soon. Others there aren't any. Hope Swansea v Brentford and Norwich televised not ifollow, these games will be the most informative ones to be seen this season.
cambridgeshire canary 7,797 Posted January 21, 2021 Still think Brentford are the best team in the divison. Well, it's a draw with us 😉 Bournmouth seem to be really struggling and I expect they will end up in the playoffs, same as Swansea and Watford.
