Karl Pilkington 0 Posted November 30, 2005 I remember reading an article by Tony Cascarino in the Times In which he said when a team is doing well players will struggle out of there sick bed and do what ever it takes to play in a match and will never complain about injurys as they always want to be involved. But when form is poor, and things are not going well, players are only too keen to complain of a little twinge here, tightness there and general fatigue so they don''t have to play.I''m not disputing any of the long term injurys such as Mackenzie, but there does seem to be an abundance of 1-2 week short term problems which are "little strains". Is this the reason why??It could be more that form prevents complaints regarding injurys, rather than good form being a result of no injurys.Any thoughts??? Fat Barman 0 Posted November 30, 2005 I''d forgotten that nugget of wisdom, from the well-known Irishman.Certainly would explain how an unchanged trainiing regime suddenlyleads to a host of muscle pulls (phnaar phnaar).[;)]
