Oven Chips - are they to blame for our demise?

I blame oven chips for the downfall of city.  The lads were doing

well on pasta & chicken until just before  the prem kicked off

it was announced they were eating  a special  form of 

potato devised specially for athletes by the McCain group in assocation

with Delia, I seem to remember (please correct me if I''m wrong). 

Are the lads still eating oven chips? And if so, could they go back to

pasta pronto. I remember thinking poor old svennson, playing against

place on opening day of prem campaign on a stomach full of oven chips

on a hot sunny day - no wonder he looked slaughtered after 30 mins -

made me feel queezy just to think about it.
