Angus Nisbet 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Primus'' agent:“I am planning to have a meeting with Portsmouth to see what they want to do regarding Linvoy. Having spoken to him I think he would like to stay and fight for his place but if they want to let him go then he may have to leave.”Nigel - he doesn''t want to come. End of story. Move on. Dean Coneys boots 1,400 Posted October 26, 2005 We desperately need a midfielder or three! So WHY are we going for an ageing defender who has never shown any real desire to come here?
First Wizard 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Too little, and far too late!. Yet another possible blunder by blunder man Worthy. Two years ago, Primus would have been useful, but not now, anyway, he doesn''t want to come here IMO.
Salopian 1 Posted October 26, 2005 The defence has been poor over the last two games, but that may be due to an even poorer midfield. Unless he has decided to get rid of Shackle, who is not far away from fitness, and continue to play Charlton in the midfield, we do not need another central defender.Primus cannot be more than a panic short-term decision. He will probably not add much to what we have and would be at most a stop-gap. A younger player would make more sense - but we missed several of these over the summer!
