Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted October 4, 2013 I was walking past Holy Trinity Church (Essex St or Trinity St, off Unthank Rd) today, and it made me wonder how many lovely buildings there are in Norwich and other towns/cities that hardly get a mention or any sort of recognition. Holy Trinity certainly is a Victorian beauty. Can you nominate some others?
SHRIMPER 328 Posted October 4, 2013 There certainly are, but I can tell you that this little ol town of King''s Lynn has one more grade one building than the fine city or Norwich [:P]

Herman 10,936 Posted October 9, 2013 Oxburgh Hall, Lincolns Inn and those buildings that you pass going through Elveden. Oh and more Tudor beauty at Hatfield House.
Wings of a Sparrow 1,685 Posted October 9, 2013 Norfolk does seem to have more than its fair share of some lovely churches.
Herman 10,936 Posted October 10, 2013 The round towered church at Morningthorpe. Trying to find it is the hard part.
Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted October 17, 2013 If you want a very familiar and widely acclaimed structure then the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol is almost unsurpassable.
walkern canary 0 Posted November 22, 2013 The Airship hangers at Cardington are impressive too
SHRIMPER 328 Posted November 22, 2013 Been in the hangers many times and the size of the doors and the small engine that opens themamazes me. They are so well balanced I think the engine is only a half horsepower. When you think how old they are, superb.
