  1. @BroadcastMoose: Transfer gossip - latest is there could be some sort of player/cash deal between Norwich and Celtic with Gary Hooper & Grant Holt involved Really?!
  2. Or maybe.. http://m.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/130121/exclusive-hooper-closer-norwich-move-after-rejecting-final-c
  3. Nope! Just what I''ve seen on here/twitter/online. Obviously not true, hence it being rumours! Just found it all amusing.
  4. Haha! Where''s the Champions League Final being held in 2014? Need to start looking at flights and accommodation :)
  5. Hooper - done £8m Graham - done £5m Unknown Frenchy in on a free Butland - done £unknown C Davies - done £unknown CMS - had talks, deal broken down Feel free to add!
  6. I think that Norwich would qualify for the Champions League every year if we played in the SPL. £5m seems pretty fair to me.
  7. @CharlieWyett: Norwich today put in official £5m bids for Gary Hooper of Celtic and Danny Graham of Swansea. The dream is on :)
  8. @CharlieWyett: Norwich today put in official £5m bids for Gary Hooper of Celtic and Danny Graham of Swansea.
  9. It''s been pretty clear that scoring goals has been our Achilles heel this season so why not get both Graham AND Hooper in? Yes I know Graham is far from a done deal but at least, if we can trust Sky Sources, we''ve shown some intent. If Jackson and Morison are both allowed to leave surely that opens up some scope to sign two strikers? Yes signing both would mean spending the most we''ve spent during a transfer window but staying up is a must this year what with the new tv deal next year. Come on, let''s make it an exciting transfer window for City fans for a change :)
  10. I suppose every journalist but be seen to be ''in the know'' even if they are only paraphrasing other journos/media.
  11. @JamesNursey: #NCFC known for while Danny Graham wants to go to north east hence focus on Hooper. Won''t bid until\if hooper definitely wants to come tho Don''t shoot the messenger. Are all our eggs in the Hooper basket?
  12. @Oddschanger: Sunderland are now 2/1 (from 6/1) @BetVictor to sign Celtic''s Gary Hooper this month with Norwich the 6/4 favourites. http://t.co/yGoXIbiL
  13. To be fair I love all the rumours around the transfer windows. Whether they''re true or complete bull, it is entertaining!
  14. Removed because it''s a load of old tosh I presume?..
  15. With the whole Hooper situation you begin to wonder whether or not an agent is the instigator of certain press reporting that he''s close to signing just to tout his client about. I remember being excited when Sky Sports News'' Breaking News ticker reported Lucas Biglia was about to sign on the dotted line only for any other news on the deal never to materialise. I''ve no idea how long deals take, but it all seems to have fizzled away a la the Biglia situation.
  16. The reserve is £70, which is less than what was paid.

  19. Good post. I thought we looked really fired up at the start of the second half and had Surman''s shot gone in rather than over off of Snodgrass'' arse then it could''ve been a different story.
  20. Maybe saying ''last few seasons'' was a bit OTT, Gareth, I take your point. But I generally mean dead ball set pieces. You''re right when you mention the Newcastle game and I remember West Brom and QPR away too where Morison''s winning goals were both headers from good wing play. Maybe it''s become more apparent because of the lack of natural wingers, such as Pilkington and Bennett.
  21. LDC I wasn''t rubbishing players or signalling out Surman, I was just using the weekend as an example. I certainly do not condone that sort of behaviour towards your own players, especially when we have the advantage of a corner. Also I feel this has been a weakness for a few seasons now? I saw the Spurs game and thought Snodgrass'' delivery was exceptional at times but I can''t remember the last set piece he took?
  22. Watching West Ham tonight you''ve got to say their delivery from set pieces and from wide areas in open play has been class. You do wonder with strikers such as Holt and Morison that if we improved in these areas we''d at least create more chances which hopefully turn into goals. For as long as I can remember we''ve always lacked quality from corners and free kicks. This was made evident on Saturday when Surman delivered two poor corners which, from what I remember, failed to miss the first man.
  23. Broken metatarsal. Out for eight weeks. Gutted for the lad.
  24. I wouldn''t be surprised if Joe Allen and/or Scott Sinclair also followed him to Anfield.
