1. I think it is too easy to blame Hughton RVWs failings. I don''t think anybody would argue that the leagues in Holland and Portugal are of the same standard as the PL. I think Bony cost Swansea £16 million. Singing RVW for £8.5 was huge gamble. We''d have been calling Hughton a genius if it had worked. Sadly, it hasn''t. RVWs future lies in somewhere Micky Mouse league. The worry thing is, if we are in the PL at the end of the season, can we afford £15/20 million for a striker capable of doing the job?
2. 6-0 ouch Must be one of the few games this season not involving Norwich where more than 4 goals have been scored.
3.
Relegated to League One and Delia would sell for £40 million ?.......I will have a pint of whatever you are on.
In terms of book value £40 maybe about right. Cardiffs stadium cost£48. What somebody is prepared to pay in reality might be completely different.
4.
Wouldn''t our current status as a Prem club have a major impact on the valuation?
Not really. That''s probably far too an unstable factor to put any significant costing on. You would look at the clubs accounts for the last 5/10 years to get a rough idea of revenue potential. Other than the land they own, very few football clubs have any real value as a business.
5.

I''m probably wrong, but, I think it was about the time we were relegated to league 1
If you think you''re wrong, why on earth would you post it?
I was just being polite. She may not have been sober when she said it, but, I definitely think it''s something that she has said.
6. I can remoember is was mentioned at a time when she was being criticised for lack of investment. She said someone like ....''anybody whose prepared to throw their money away etc''
7. What is really wrong is that if either Manager says anything critical of the ref after the game, they''ll probably get charged by the FA.
8. I''m probably wrong, but, I think it was about the time we were relegated to league 1
9. The club being well run, and, the difficulty in getting regional club are two defences that seemed to be used to defend. I believe it can be argued that neither of these are true. Whilst the aboard may not have sanctioned extravagant transfer fees, I would argue they have allowed the teams wage structure to spiral out of control. I believe an external saw has quoted wages as 75% of turnover. That is unsustainable in any form of business, and more importantly for NCFC outside of the Premier League. Reading appear to have found a second Billionaire to take them over in two seasons. Yet, defenders of the NCFC Board often quote the clubs location, and relatively small catchment as reasons for lack of external investment. I think you can counter argue this by going back to basic business principals; 1. How much value for money does the Board offer investors? The last future I was quoted, was that DS was willing to sell for £40 million. I believe Reading was sold for in the region of £20 million. If so, there is no way on a Gods earth that NCFC is worth £40 million. And more importantly 2. How much control of the club are current Board willing to relinquish?
10. I may be naive but I have immense respect for Andy Flowers decision to resign as England Coach. He led England to number 1 test spot, England won a series in India for the first time in 20 years, retained the. Ashes, and won the T20 World Cup. I believe that if he''d had waited to be sacked rather than having resigned, he would have received compensation in excess of £1 million from the ECB. I think AF showed himself to be a man on immense integrity What has this go to do with football? I find it infuriating that football seems to have produced a breed of Clueless Numptys such as Hooooton who despite the over whelming evidence that they couldn''t manage their way out of a revolving door, remain their posts in the knowledge that in the event of their sacking they''ll get a huge compensation payout.
11. May be we should do the same thing to the Sunderland players on Saturday.
12. Cardiff stadium cost £48 million (admittedly 5 years ago). I was just wondering how City calculated rebuilding 1 stand as costing £30 million.
13. I''ve supported Norwich for almost 30 years and wish I didn''t care.
14. I admire your optimism Ricardo, but, if Saturday is anything to buy, the players don''t seem to care one way or the other.
15. Just in cased you doubted MOTD pundits now FA...In January, GC stated that CH was a future England manager. God help England!
16. I''m not sure how many people will be aware/care that League 1 Brentford have been granted planning permission for a new stadium. I wondered whether somebody with vastly more knowledge and wisdom, could explain how a League 1 side can produce a business case to build a stadium, but a Premier League club can''t produce a business case to justify building a new stand?
