  1. Ok explain why sharing my opinions about the club makes me an Ipswich fan? This will be interesting
  2. Because I ask critical questions I must be an Ipswich fan. Wow. Did they teach you logic at school?
  3. I was referring to the coffers. This summer we sold Max, Rashica, Krul, Todd, Dowell and Omo- seemingly to balance the books. What do we have to show for it? Not a lot . Sheesh
  4. The club decision to sell the silverware this summer and replace with free players at the end of their careers smacks of a lack of ambition. They are extremely lucky that those older heads have played well and results have gone well - otherwise the scenes would have been ugly. it’s been a lucky start not ambition that has saved the clubs blushes. It really is time the owners sold up - the cupboard is clearly bare
  5. Yes but unfortunately they lack the funds to compete. They are from a bygone era and are now holding this club back- hence we sell our silverware and replace with old men.
  6. Because the “something different” has a very poor scoring record in last couple of seasons and is more a wide forward than a sarge replacement - he’s also over 30. And the CB is 33 in two weeks time and not really the replacement people had hoped for. They might surprise us doubters- but you have to say that we have sold players for big bucks and spent absolutely nothing this summer- few clubs fans would be cheering that
  7. What seems odd is that the omo sale was long in the making and we didn’t seem to have a decent replacement lined up? We needed a Gibbo upgrade to keep things competitive- why sign a 33 year old has been who is slow and has little future?
  8. It’s a strange argument to claim I am desperate for us to fail because I want to see decent signings? If I really wanted failure I would cheer the dross we have looked to sign today because it would bring about what I desire. As it happens I want us to succeed- and that requires a decent replacement for both sarge and Omo- and we haven’t signed either. We have cashed in and gone for profit instead
  9. Ask me again in the summer if we don’t go up. Parachute payments will run out, we shall fire sale any remaining talent and won’t have the funds to replace dads army
  10. Yes but not blindly. If you think today is something to cheer you must be simple or insane.
  11. Good start to season aside - we have regressed massively in terms of squad value. Sold the family cars and purchased some nice old bangers for next to nothing - which are fun to drive but have almost nothing left on the clock.
  12. We have made a fortune in sales in recent years. Yet we are shopping in the absolute dregs of the bargain basement, it’s wonderful how good a start we have made, but it’s more luck than judgement. Where is the ambition?
  13. So underwhelmed by Danny Batth. Never impressed me - if he was our first choice replacement then our recruitment team needs tbe axe
  14. Danny batth? Sheesh- that is underwhelming. Starting to think the argument they don’t want us to go up has merit
  15. Feels that way Ricardo. How much have we made in sales and how much habe we spent? would love to see figures for this year and last 5. It does feel that we needed to add not subtract but still 40 mins to go…
  16. No. Am quite certain we will, I imagine omo going has been in pipeline and papers for replacement all lodged weeks ago, more worried about Striker as that wasn’t part of the plan.
