Schlaudraff usually plays out wide on the right for Hannover, does play through the middle some times, Usually this is when there are injuries, last season there was a lot of movement in the squad at Hannover as both Abdellaoue and Ya Konan had spells out as well as Diouf at the end of the season. Just realised this is posting on my very old log in.

I think there is still a small chance of this going through. If we have the opportunity to complete this deal he is a player we should snap up, genuine class act. I have the feeling that they have held talks with NCFC late last week with the view of the loan, leaked the story to the press to try and get any interest from the bigger names who have been linked to see if they bite. If nothing has progressed elsewhere over the weekend, I would expect talks to resume with us...you have to remember that transfers rarely happen over a 2/3 day period and the Tettey deal will probably have been on the cards for a week to 10 days so the signing of him does not guarantee Biglia won''t happen Hughton didn''t rule him in or out in his interview, just stated the focus is on getting a striker in, happy with defence & midfield, but as always if something crops up which will make us stronger, we will go for it

As a fan of Hannover and Norwich I can say he is the sort of player NCFC could do with. He does tend to go missing in matches and can be quite lazy BUT when it comes to getting a chance dropping at his feet he will stick it in the net, he also has a good turn of pace. He is currently injured hence not being in the squad for the match against Schalke, he came back to pre-season with a knock and although he has played in some of the matches he isn''t 100% fit anyway I seriously doubt this is true, Hannover are really looking to make a statement this season with a trophy after stablising (however it is spelt) in the Bundesliga after nearly getting relegated (3??? seasons ago...the same day we got the League 1 trophy) and they only have 4 strikers in their squad Ya Konan, Abdellaoue, Diouf (formerly of Man U) and Sobiech. With the likelihood of Diouf & Ya Konan going to the African Nations they would be very reluctant to sell at present without a replacement. BUT stranger things have happened.
