I've not seen anyone comment on their wall for the goal. As it turned out their whole goal was exposed and there was no funny business from us to pull anyone out of the way.

I guess they felt that it was so far out that the keeper could cover 80% of their goal. Their wall was as effective as the Siegfried Line, where the Germans just went around the end - like Nunez.

Sorry to be pedantic, it was the Maginot line.

I went to school with Neil Franklin! North Denes Juniors. Does anyone know what has happened to the Iron Duke pub? Last time I was home and drove up MARINE DRIVE it was derelict.

I also went to North Denes! The Iron Duke has a preservation order on it and is going to be redeveloped as a bar/restaurant apparently.

  3. Great Yarmouth is like every other place in the country, it has it good parts and also it’s bad, I would say good parts include the sea front, circus, racecourse, Beaches (if we’re including ‘Greater’ Yarmouth then Gorleston has one of the best beaches in the county) cultural diversity, not just the Portuguese and East Europeans but the Greeks who have been here for over 50 years, lots of restaurants, again some good, some bad and some decent pubs, if you know where to look for them.

The bad, well like most town centres it has been decimated in the last few years by businesses folding and the increase in out of town and internet shopping, adding to that the influx of betting shops, charity shops and discount stores creates a difficult environment for new independent shops.

But, I hate to break it to some of you but much as I love the City, Norwich has some of the same problems, look at the decline of Castle Mall and the numerous empty shops in the City Centre, the massive increase in rough sleepers/beggars because support services are underfunded, it is a nationwide issue and not just in Norfolk where it’s happening, I can’t see how the centres will revive unless a lot more is done by the local authorities.

oh yeah GY Council seem to be grossly incompetent and have been for years!🤣

Huh, interesting. So their record home attendence is 15,785? Only got my info from Facebook so fair to say probably should have looked elsewhere 🤣

You mean not everything on Facebook is true? Next you’ll be telling me not everything on this forum is true either, I just won’t accept that!

Cheers! I'm very much into my keg craft ales, and Mrs Wolf likes stouts and sours. We've already got Small Bar, Wiper & True, Left Handed Giant, Bristol Beer Factory and Little Martha on the list.

I haven’t read through the whole thread but there are 4 or 5 good craft beer bars around King St, and Left Handed Giant taproom is epic, expect London prices though!

By that I meant not supporting the victim, allowing him to breach his bail conditions.

The bail conditions are supposed to prevent him from contacting witnesses in the case, which would be a fairly standard one, if he breaches them there should be consequences, in the old days he would have been remanded to prison but under the new bail act that sets a clock ticking, which if the case isn’t ready could end up with him being released before the trial. Anyway, there’s little to stop someone with means in prison from contacting people on the outside if they want to.

Well this topic seems to have digressed a bit what with getting inside Alice Piper and similarities to Andrew Tate 😬

I don’t particularly enjoy their style and Jacks fan cam thing a few years back I felt was very contrived and I didn’t bother watching it after the first time, but I’m not sure what they’ve done to deserve the bitterness that some replies seem to be indicating.

……..I think autos are still a possibility.

Lots of ifs and buts obviously, BUT IF the blunts play as I’ve seen them the times I have seen them I can see them having a horrible run like we did. Momentum is obviously critical, BUT this league is not great. Burnley I think are making it no matter what, but I feel 2nd is there for the taking still. Alex Neil got us there and whilst I realise the playoffs is a bigger target to hit, this just feels different.

A win on Saturday and I’m believing. Who is with me? (God I sound like Lakey of 18 months ago)

    You crazy fool.

Nothing against TNC but I do find them difficult to like. I guess that is something against them 🤣But why do they give interviews to these 2 rather than proper journalist's. I would much rather have an in depth with Paddy or Michael Bailey. I'm sure we would find out more.

I mean Jack has worked as a journalist for the BBC and ITV and is Social engagement Manager for the Racing Post, so he’s not really just a fan although not a current professional journalist, granted.

Did anyone answer this question? Maybe the mention of December in that report is just an error. Was Wagner already at NCFC while Tzolis was back here for rehab work?

No, there was no answer, Tzolis’ return was announced yesterday whilst Wagner was appointed/announced on the 6th, if he was watching him in late December then he must have been sounded out for the job already, unless like you say the date on the report is incorrect.
