fair enough, but if the deal was agreed in principle quickly, it could a) provide the money to buy the players roeder wants before the start of the season, and/or b) indicate to potential targets that investment was available and therefore provide some incentive for them to join norwich as a promotion chasing side.

i hope for roeder''s sake that he knows what''s going on so he''s aware of his budget not only for buying, but for salaries in case of premier class freebies that might be in his sights. i''m pretty confident he knows what''s happening and i hope that it''s good news all round.

i don''t understand why delia was so upbeat the other day (or was it the wine?) if she doesn''t want to have the investment. maybe she was just putting on an act because she was warned about the announcement. i really hope that this investment comes in so we can at least compete with the top clubs in the championship.
