1. Great spot again this week Trent. I''m with you and Cherub this week and Hajduk Split to win, despite having a cople of similar ''dead certs'' letting me down already this season. Good luck Statto and all PUPs MC
 2.
Greetings all. I''m off to one of my favourite picking leagues today, and the lovely Estonia. The top 2 are playing the bottom two so either will do but I''m going to opt for second place Levadia Tallin to beat bottom of the table Lootus Kohtla-Jarve by a handsome margin. Trent old chap, if you''re after a definite 6 to add some dosh to the kitty you mat want to have a look at Flora (top) away to Kurassaare (2nd bottom) too, but as I''m only allowed one pick of course, mine is LEVADIA, Home WIN ! Good luck one and all!
Good pick Scooby, was torn between the two games myself.
 3. Estonian League for me this week and Top of the table Flora Tallinn (W26, D3, L3) to win away at second from bottom FC Kuressaare(W6, D3, L24)  Hope it all goes well for you Trent. Good luck to you and all PUPs MC
 4. Cheers for the chin up guys. Now ready to help next weeks picker.
 5.

Shyster is very quiet tonight?[;)]
What was the Brest score? Very pleased with Cardiff giving me another correct selection, was rather worried when they were 2-0 down after 8 minutes!
Brest finished 0-0. He must feel a right tit.And SWP is a poor man''s Lee Croft, how he still gets in the England team is a mystery I will never solve.
Chops - last week you reprimanded me for not keeping within the spirit of what the PUPS concept is all about - I dutifully agreed and ceased with the slightly antagonistic nature of my posts - now here you and a several others are queuing up to take the pi*ss at my failed selection.I feel an apology for the blatant hypocrisy is in order.
Guys, I''m feeling pretty crap about this weekends events and the last thing I/we need is for this PUPs thread to degenerate into a slanging match like a lot of the other threads on this forum, so please give it a rest, thanks from a rather down MC.
 6.
Fleetwood are loosing 1-0 :( Davo
DAMN!!!!
 7.
Sorry i''m a bit late... I''m going for Real Madrid away at Malaga Not 100% confident about Arsenal or Man U, both playing fairly solid teams, wouldn''t be surprised if 1 slipped up. Good luck all
I tend to agree with you Jed, which is why I steered clear of them in my final six, but time will tell I guess.
 8. Wow!!! I''m totally overwhelmed by the response of you PUPs. I counted 38 different picks from 63 PUPs so far, that''s absolutely amazing. Things have certainly gone from strength to strength in the year since my last pick. I promise that I haveconsidered ever single one of your picks and have come up with the following six selections. ZENIT ST PETERSBURG to beat FC AMKARPERM (Canary Cherub, Scooby, and also My choice.) AALESUNDS FK to beat SANEFJORD(Newcastle uni-canary) STADE BRESTOIS(ok the popular Brest) to beat ARLES-AVIGNON(Shyster, Filly-faufage, Muddy Funster, Shack-Attack) PSV EINDHOVEN to beat WILLEM II(Hissing Sid, El Choppo) PORT VALE to beat GILLINGHAM(Big Slob, GMF) FLEETWOOD to beat ALTRINCHAM(Statto, Mandie-Moo, First Wazzock). Well that''s it, thanks once again for all your help and thanks to Nutty for the opportunity and now it''s fingers crossed.
 9. Good morning PUPs, What are great bunch you are, I make it that we have at the moment 34 different picks from 48 PUPs. Keep up the good work. I have three certain picks at the moment, the still uncertain about the rest. I should be able to delay the pick from my originally stated time but won''t know until later on, so keep ''em coming. MC
 10. Cheers for the intro NN. I''ve been really looking forward to this since my disaster of last season. I''ll need all the help the PUPs can give me, and judging by te response so far(13 different picks already) that''s exactly what you guys are going to do. I''m going to lose my computer at home for two days after tonight, so will monitor the picks from work(in my lunch hour of course), so will have to shose around 5.30pm on Friday if thats ok. My pick this week is Zenit to win at home against Amkar in the Russian League, as already chosen by Cherub. Need a win to keep myself on the PUPs league!!!!! Keep them coming and good luck to all PUPs MC
 11.
62 PUPs made selections this week with 39 being correct making a success rate of 63% which is up on last week. Between us 30 games were selected of which 20 won making a strike rate of 67% which better than we have been managing lately and testament to the effort made considering the reduced fixture list. However Sparkos out did us all with 5/6 which amounts to 83%. That was some effort and so unlucky. A win would have been just reward for the efforts made this week. But I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we win a few. The quality of our “PUPs army” is good enough to send most bookies hiding for cover so it’s a good job Billy stands by us. Graham is still the clear leader of our league with no real changes at the top because they were all so good at finding a winning selection. Here is the latest PUPs League showing those with over 50% correct from at least 50% of the available weeks. 12. I''m with what might well be the majority this week and pick Port Vale to win away at Hereford. Good luck Sparkos and all PUPs. And the Arguement Clinic is THE best Python sketch of all time. ''This isn''t an arguement it''s just contradiction''...  ''No it isn''t!!'' ''Yes it is!!'' ABSOLUTE GENIOUS.
 13.
Evening all.  You''ve given me lots of really good picks to choose from (29 in total), and if football was played on paper it would be a doddle but as we know it''s played on grass.  There have been some very unpredictable results this season, which is great for the game but not so good for us PUPs.  But we''ll keep on rising to the challenge, and together we''ll do our best to wipe the smile off Billy''s face [;)] Here''s my final selection (all home wins): Celtic  v  Hamilton  Raith Rovers  v  Stirling Fleetwood  v  Histon   AFC Wimbledon  v  Forest Green Real Betis  v  Ponferradina KV Kortrijk  v  Eupen Bring it on! [Y]
Like these Cherub, everything is now crossed!!!
 14.

(In reply to Nutty Nigel''s useful sites, I use www.statto.com)
Excellent site! Thank you Cosmic. I will forward it to The Butler and ask him to add it to our library!
And how quick is that!! The Butler has already updated the library which can be seen here It''s always well worth a look around the rest of the NCISA site while you''re there[Y]
I always use www.uefa.com to look around Europe. If you click on the TEAMS AND PLAYERS tab at the top you can select any member country from Armenia to Wales. Worth a look. MC
 15. Levski Sofia(w7 d0 l1) to beat Sliven(w2 d1 l5) on Monday in the Bulgarian League. Good luck Cherub and all PUPs. MC
 16. Nice and early this week after last week''s extremely late showing. Cyprus for me this week and top of the table AC Omonia (3 from 3) to win at home on Sunday against bottom of the table APOP(0 from 3) Good luck GMF and all PUPs MC
 17. Unlucky 1Dart, it really sems to be getting more and more difficult to get those elusive six picks. Sorry once again that my pick was so late this week, as I was of no help what so ever to you. My date of 16th October is fine for me by the way Nutty. MC
 18. Man Utd to win tomorrow just for the records. Sorry for the mega latness. MC
 19. Yeh I also agree with Jas''s suggestion. Will put a smile on everyone''s face, so there can be no better tribute to Roy.
 20. Forgot to say when I did my pick that I normally look at the usually references such as skysport and bbc sport, but the ones I use most are www.weekendfootball.co.uk  for domestic games, www.uefa.com for european leagues, and www.fifa.com for international games. MC
 21. Denmark this week, and in the hope of getting back to winning ways after losing 100% record last week(damn you Mexico), i''m going for; FC Kobenhavn(top of the league W6 D1 L0) to win at home against bottom of the table Silkenborg(W0 D3 L4) Good luck Butler and all PUPs MC
 22. Kings Lynn  - location Sheffield Weds - Have a good mate who supports them. We go together to both games(when we are in the same division). He sits with me for the home game and I sit in the kop with him for the away game.
 23. Mmmmmmmm.........torn between Mexico to beat Ecuador or Honduras to beat El Salvador..... Think I''ll go for Mexico to win at home to Ecuador on Sunday.   Good luck Mr. Bump and all PUPs MC
