  1. Had a trip up to Burnley at the weekend to visit my wifes family and of course see the game. I have taken so much mickey taking that I am glad to be back in Norwich. We had no passion, no idea and it was probably our strongest side apart from Sibieski. I am not sure where we go from here. I was talking to some Burnley fans after the game in the pub and they can''t beleiev we get 25K+ every week, got a great ground ( Burnley is a dump), great away support and we are struggling to make ends meet. There were just over 11k at Turf Moor on saturday yet they really look like play off contenders, how do they do it and we can''t I am trying to stay positive but it''s starting to get worrying.
  2. I think it is time that us Norwich fans appreciate the Doc. He has been trown into the team after a long injury with just a few days training, little time to get to know the other full backs and has done a decent job. As Roeder said he is safe. So please don''t ring into radio Norfolk after the match and talk about the Doc and what a poor player he is, he was one of our best players last night and deserves support throughout the rest of the season.
  3. I know this isn''t a Norwich chant as such but one I heard at a Norwich V Watford match. "Dont bend down when Elton''s around you might get a p*nis up the a*se"  Sung in the "My old Man said follow the van...." style. Also "He shot, he c*m all over Mariners bum, Eric Gates, Eric Gates"
  4. Following the recent debate about standing at Carrow road it took me back to the old River end when standing was still in place and the wooden box my old man knocked up for me to stand on. It was a bit Heath Robinson but lasted me a few seasons until I grew a bit and then moved to standing in the old Barclay. I can remember seeing this lad one saturday with a milk crate and thought it was the best, it was the right height, light weight and green. I should have got myself one of those. Anyone else use a hand made box or stool for increasing height.  Could you every see the authoriotes allowing kids to bring such things into games now.
  5. Norwich  V Middlesborough  1-1    28/08/1977 First game aged 11 so yellow since 1977.
  6. " He shot he c*m all over Mariners bum, Eric Gates, Eric Gates" Both hated in equal measures.
  7. I gave a £100 the last time we were in trouble and needed cash for the push into the Prem.
  8. If every season ticket holder and casual Norwich fan bought 5 euro million lottery tickets each this week, that would have at least 100k + tickets in the draw. We would surely win the rollover and the money could be used to pay off Delia, by some new players, build a tier on the city stand, free half time pies for everyone, new boots for the players and there might even be a little money left to get splat the cat a new coat.
  9. Just to while away the last hour at work. I was thinking about some special away games I have been to. One of the best had to be the 3-2 win at Ipswich in the cup when Martin O''Neil scored from a free kick in the dying minutes. Just brilliant. Or the one when me and a mate got expelled from Loftus road becuase we sang a rude song about the brass band on the pitch. We went back to the coach and got our coats and got back in with the Rangers fans, I think we won 1 nil in the cup. Anyone else with some good away game stories?
  10. I coudn''t get to the friendlies so not sure if there is a replacement for the cross bar challenge but wondered what half time delight we will have tomorrow. I wonder what the Aviva boys have come up with.
  11. I Know is a code for some incident within the ground but does anyone know what it means.
  12. I wish I had, at least they are watching Prem football rather than our dire stuff.
  13. Mine must be the Stadium of Light. A great place especially when we heard we had been promoted to the Prem. We had a great party in Sunderland afterwards, stayed at a mates brothers who lived in Sunderland so didn''t have to travel back home. Any favourites?
  14. Blackpool have also lost their first two games. If we struggle against them and get nothing from Cardiff with Birmingham at home the following week then we do need to worry. I think we will win on saturday and that will start us off, we should by then have a target man in place who can lay off for Lupoli and Cureton but he needs some pedigree ________________________________________________________________________ First Norwich game.
