  1. I''m with you Steven, this deal was obviously in the mind of both the board and NW quite a while ago. It was pulled off against the usual competition - Wigan, West Brom etc This lad obviously chose Norwich so let''s get behind him after all he''s committed himself to us unlike others ? (It''s time to let Huckerby go and thank him today for his contribution) The "fans" who are already questioning this transfer should remember a certain Efan Ekuko, who was bought from the lower leagues -Bournemouth - and had he been available for the whole of the European run well who knows? He also did it at Premiership level. Good Luck Leon from all the True Fans.
  2. You are the kind of person who would obviously like to live in the large house with paid car etc. So am I - I am also a fan who would love to see Norwich rub shoulders - and compete -with the top teams each week not each year in the F.A.Cup. The board stated when they first appointed Worthy that he was part of a longer term plan to regain premiership status. We very nearly managed it in year 1, we weren''t far away from another chance last year and seem to be in a good position to have another go this season. Last season could you see the board agreeing to risk/ pay for the three loanies we have had the pleasure of recently? This is progress and next year will probably be better still no matter which division we find ourselves in. If we throw everything at it this year and fail then pick your favourite five players from this year and imagine the team without them next season, where do you see us finishing with out Green, Dury, Mulryne,Mcveigh etc! If we all keep supporting the club and the board I honestly beleive our time will come. Good things are best acheived if they are sustainable.
  3. Try this for a senario, Would you gamble your house on this fact - if Huckerby and Crouch stayed at CarrowRoad Norwich City would be playing Premiership next season? The prize if you are right is a much larger property (bought) possibly a new car and cash in the bank. The cost if your wrong is you and your beloved are homeless penny less and hunger. If you would honestly say you would risk the above - I would suggest you might like to discuss this matter with members of your family. If you answered No - Then why should the football club????
  4. With the exception of the Jarvis goal against Watford, When did we last score a scrappy tap in from two yards. If and it is an if we don''t secure the services of any of the present loanies - and to be honest after the double footed tackle against Derby Harper could have gone then for me - We should be looking for a player in the mould of Iwan who will get hurt in return for 20 goals a season. One player who seems to fit this mould is Steve McClean of Scunthorpe. With the spritley McVeigh or Jarvis along side may be this would be the type of gamble we should take- it should also be with in the financial restraint we need to maintain. Just in case any of you don''t understand the sort of goal i mean an example was the goal that Iwan scored against Wolves at Carrow Rd during our Play off season (league game not play off game.) To be honest this is probably the last tap in I can remeber prior to Mr. Jarvis''s historic goal. Your thoughts and suggestions please
