Weird that we couldnt have got him as part of the Idah deal?

Think it’s purely paper talk tbh that we were interested in him. Other than Van Hooijdonk to replace Idah I doubt anything major will happen as we seem to have so little money now

You show no understanding of the pressure a football manager is under - and no understanding of body language either. No understanding of me for that matter. There's a message there.

Really? I’ve done a body language course actually, have you? And it shows that he was not totally focused on the job in hand. So please don’t tell me something you know absolutely nothing about, and you don’t know anything about football management either, again I have a coaching qualification so yet again you are wrong. When you are qualified to lecture me on body language or even football management, I also have a degree in management too, then I might listen, but until then I will treat what you say on the subject the way it deserves.

I don't think you understand human nature if you can't see that playing a team like Liverpool might make him very tense, even when we score. The fact that his best mate is also the manager is an add on to that, not the main story, but I think you knew I meant that and are just goading me, so fill your boots.....

Oh for goodness sake, you are the one who doesn’t understand it at all. Just excuse after excuse with you isn’t it? If you work for a company buy harbour desires to go somewhere else and don’t show 100% commitment you wouldn’t last long. It’s called real life ffs. How do you explain that his assistant Pelach was overjoyed then? What message do you think it sent to the players too? It’s really simple, show your desire to be here or go!

Same as any academy up and down the country and the fact these players leave for bigger clubs speaks volumes

Even though we didn’t get much of a fee you mean. We are all told we will produce these youngsters but there seems little sign of anyone breaking through currently

Agreed - should we be focussing on the foundations he laid for the academy so we’ve still got a club in 25 years or keep going down this narrative?

You mean  The academy that has been stifled and has players jumping to leave now due to a lack of opportunities?

What on earth makes you makes you think he wasn't 100% dedicated to Norwich on Sunday?  Yes, it was his best mate, but it was still against Liverpool, arguably the best club in the country at the moment. If you were in charge, you might be a little tense too! To me he was holding it together more than anything else.

Yet again you don’t get it do you! He’s employed by Norwich so **** who we are playing he should be all in irrespective of his best mate or not! You just don’t understand simple things do you, holding it together? Yet more tripe from you!

So if Liam Gibbs scored a play off final winner against the Binboys and didn’t celebrate you’d be happy with that wouldn’t you?

Have you actually seen him during matches? He is normally totally involved and full of reaction. The guy was so tense on Sunday - it was a  huge occasion for him, playing Liverpool and against his best friend - and he knew that despite us scoring that it was going to be a tough afternoon.

More crap from you! Does it ever end? He should be 100% dedicated to Norwich during that game but he wasn’t! Dress it up however you like the guy was passionless!

What is it about Germans that you seem to love so much? Maybe it’s their sausage? 🤣🤣🤣

Passion is clear in everything Wagner does. He cares and shows it. I never really got that feeling with Smith. Sorry, but that is how it appeared to me. Imo Smith should have taken a break after Villa to recharge his batteries.

Farke had just taken us to a record breaking season and had ten games of the most difficult circumstances possible - covid disrupted preseason, injuries, no prep with Kabak and Normann, loss of Buendia and Skipp, weakness at the time of Sargent and Tzolis - and almost the most difficult starting fixtures imaginable.

We were just coming out of that phase of the season - we even got the elusive win that might have kick started the season. And we sacked Farke....for nothing.

He showed zero passion on Sunday when we scored, so yet again you are talking bollox!

Depends on the circumstances. If the person above you insists you have to play 433, rather than the successful 4231, if the person above you gets in players who are not ready to play PL football, if the person above you loans in players who are not good enough - then that suggests the manager is not the one to blame.

It’s down to the coach to decide who plays and what formation not the SD

You seem terribly worried about what the Binboys think.

How do you deduce that? It’s a fact their fans mock us for celebrating one European win, that’s all I stated. I couldn’t give a **** what they think tbh, but it’s a bit tinpot to celebrate one victory like this really isn’t it?

  11. 13 hours ago, Thirsty Lizard said:

Seriously mate - you haven't got a clue what you're talking about. Wagner has given a debut to three youth team players since he's been here. Abu Kamara, Jaden Warner and Kellen Fisher.

And I'll make it really clear for you - the young player who recently signed his first professional contract with us is called Elliot Myles not  Myles Elliot as you incorrectly called him.

Fisher wasn’t from our academy though so he can’t really be included surely?

Why the ' celebration ' of something that happened in October 1993, 30 years and 4 months after the event in February 2024. Call me old fashioned but did not the ship sail on this in October last year 2023 ?

It’s this very thing that causes the Binboys to mock us, celebrating a victory over 30 years ago!

Yeah, but you're referring to one or two exceptions, not the rule.

Yes but our failure to even give the likes of Matos previously and Aboh recently a chance to even be on the bench in Cup games is making youngsters like these 2 disillusioned. Even before Farke we gave youngsters a chance but lately it seems to have stopped. If as we are led to believe the plan is to bring these guys on and have a pathway to the first team and then be sold for big money is true, why are they not getting a real chance?
