  1. It’s been a tough year or so for everybody, life had plenty of challenges before COVID-19 came along and exacerbated them, being well into our third lockdown, our mental health has never been more important. One in four people will experience a mental health problem in any year and over 10% of the population have depression at any one time. On the 11th March we are holding a Mental Health Awareness evening via Zoom, hosted by Michael Bailey. Guests include Mental Health Advocate, City fan and former MP Sir Norman Lamb, former Norwich City footballer Cedric Anselin, Norwich City FP & YDP Player Care Manager Carys Dalton and NCFC academy player Mental Health Ambassador Jon McCracken. Despite the glamour of the game we all adore, mental health is still a silent threat to those we idolise every weekend, with the stigma still intact. The social club has also invited around 15 mental health professional groups and charities to be part of this event and a spokesman for each group will have time to explain the services they offer to help people. Please register for your free ticket here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/norwich-city-fans-social-mental-health-evening-tickets-141366337521

  5. Join us on Thursday 18th February at 7.30pm via Zoom for what is sure to be a fascinating evening. Tickets are £5 per household and include an online raffle ticket, all the money raised will go to the wonderful Community Sports Foundation. Born in Norwich and living his early life in Cromer it’s great to have a Norwich City fan feature so prominently in the media. Simon came to most people’s attention with a 6 year stint on one of everyone’s favourite childhood TV shows, Blue Peter. In 2005 Simon started a long spell at Sky Sports and soon became a mainstay, initially on Sky Sports News and then most notably on Saturday lunch time and bank holiday games. There he worked alongside all manner of footballing legends, including Graeme Souness, Jamie Redknapp and Thierry Henry, so we’re sure he’ll have a lot of interesting stories to tell. After tragic personal circumstances Simon left Sky Sports and is now the president of Blood Cancer UK. Since then Simon has become a prominent podcaster with series such as, “Life, Interrupted”, author, and began presenting football again with Amazon Prime Video Sport. Tickets can be purchased here http://www.ncfsc.co.uk/an-evening-with-simon-thomas-18th-february/

  12. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who paid to join our Super 6 league, just over 20 pinkun posters supported us which is well up on last season We ended up with just over 90 entrants & with all your £5's and the extra donations people sent us with their fivers, we have raised £500 for the CSF. Most of you are on twitter, so will have seen we have been busy doing some online auctions since June and that has also raised us £1600. Thanks very much for your support, we really appreciate how you get behind our social club & the CSF. Diane on behalf of the volunteers
  13. It only feels like yesterday that last season's matches finished and our Super 6 league ended but hey presto next season's fixtures are now out and it is time to get our next NCFSC Super 6 league up and running again. Rather than creating a brand-new league and giving you all a new code, we're keeping last season's NCFSC league, therefore all of you who took part last season will already be included. We hope you will be happy to take part again to support the Community Sports Foundation, in which case your payment of £5 needs to be made via bank transfer by our deadline Oct 3rd (see full details below). If you don't wish to stay in our league, please feel free to remove yourself. This is how to pay Bank Transfer: Account Name Norwich City Fans Social Club - Sort Code 202634 - Acc No 83580601 - Ref = SS6 plus your surname (so we know it is from you) If Bank Transfer payment doesn't suit you please message me (Diane) and I will make other arrangements with you to collect your £5 The top 3 with the most points in our NCFSC league at the end of the season will receive prizes of: 1st £75 + £50 club shop vouchers 2nd £50 + £50 club shop vouchers 3rd £25 + £50 club shop vouchers All prizes kindly donated by our sponsors Fosters Solicitors & Norwich City Football Club So, all you need to do is get your predictions in now that the first round in September is up https://super6.skysports.com/ If you weren't in it last season but would like to join all the details and the code you need is here http://www.ncfsc.co.uk/2020-21-prediction-competition/ Thank you for your support, us volunteers and the team at the CSF really appreciate it Diane ( on behalf of the volunteers )
  14. Just want to say a big THANK YOU to all the pinkun posters who have supported our fans social club, this past 12 months. Over that period, you generous posters have donated to us a : framed shirts, ncfc centenary Mugs, scarves and other ncfc memorabilia and if that wasn't enough, a very kind person donated his clubshop credit of over £100 from his Bond to us, which we will use to buy raffle prizes to raise more even more cash for the CSF. Not only that but last Aug/Sept a massive 15 of you joined in our NCFSC Super 6 league and some paid more than the £5 entry fee, so that raised us £415 for our charity the Community Sports Foundation. It's been a difficult year for us all and of course charities and fundraisers have suffered too, we've lost 4 events but with all the donated goods from various people, our players & ncfc, we've recouped just over £1300 in sales these past 2 months which is great. Our Super 6 league will be launched very soon and once again you can be confident that every penny of your entry fee will again go to our charity to help disabled & underprivileged kids & young adults. Prizes will again be a mixture of cash and club shop vouchers and details will follow next week. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and thank you to everyone who has been so generous, we really do appreciate you Diane on behalf of the volunteers team
