  5. Everybody loves a bit of nostalgia, particularly when that revolves around their beloved football club. In 1993, Norwich City embarked on a European tour and painted the UEFA Cup yellow and green. From Jeremy Goss’ iconic volley against Bayern Munich to watching the Canaries play at the San Siro, City’s European adventure still lives long in the memory. As John Motson’s voice provided the underscore for the famous victory in Germany, City made history by becoming the first English team ever to win at the Olympic Stadium. On Thursday, March 12, we are reliving the run through the eyes of some of those closest to it. City legends Jeremy Goss, Rob Newman and Ruel Fox will join host Darren Eadie to tell their tales and lift the lid on the epic cup run. Goss was a major protagonist during the run, netting in both legs as City conquered the German giants. His sweetly struck volley is regarded as one of the most famous goals in the club’s history. The Welshman also scored in the second-leg at Carrow Road to ensure City’s progression to the third round. Newman and Fox were integral part of Mike Walker’s squad throughout the run, featuring consistently during the European adventure. Eadie’s career was just beginning and he made his senior debut against Vitesse Arnhem 1993. Entry fee is £3 for adults, £1 for under-16s and there’s the usual raffle for the CSF. It’s set to be an incredible night with some insightful and untold stories from the era so get down to Carrow Road on Thursday March 12th, it starts at 7:30pm and it’s taking place in the Top of the Terrace. We have no membership or fees at the Norwich City Fans Social Club, as our motto says, “You don’t join, you just join in!”

  11. Hello Pinkun Posters Hope you’re all having a good summer & still enjoying special memories from our brilliant last season Us volunteers also had a great season raising £7500 for the CSF ( 21k in total ) getting our best attendance ever (425) at our Daniel Fans’ Forum and putting on a range of events which proved popular. Our popular Super 6 ncfsc league raised just over £300 for the CSF and the winners were 1st - Graham Bloomfield £75 2nd - James Elvin £50 3rd - Spud Thornhill £25 Plus all 3 will receive £50 of ncfc club shop vouchers, courtesy of our club. Now we’ve all had a good rest & the fixture list is out, we’ve started to think about events for this season, we've got lots of ideas but if you have any sensible ones which are viable, just let Eddie or myself know. Our next event is at the Nest on Sunday 28th July 1:30pm to 6pm, it’s a Family Day, so there will be games & activities for kids plus a bbq & a licensed cash bar for adults. Details are all on our website http://www.ncfsc.co.uk/events/family-fun-day-28th-july-2019 Just a reminder that we are all volunteers who put these events together in our spare time, we enjoy a great relationship with our club who let us use their rooms free of charge, offer us advice and are kind enough to help us with guests. We are again this season being sponsored by our friends at Fosters Solicitors who have also been very good with support & advice Our events are all advertised on here, on our website www.ncfsc.co.uk, on twitter @NorwichCityFSC & we’re on facebook, everyone is welcome to attend, be it fans who go to games, watch it on TV, listen on the radio or just take an interest in our club You don't have to join, you just have to join in Thanks for all the support you gave us last season, I know we can rely on you all again this season to help us raise cash for such a great charity Diane ( on behalf of us volunteers )
  12. Come and enjoy our informal social evening and help us celebrate how much money you’ve helped us raise for the CSF this season. It’s on Thurs April 18th starts at 7:30pm in the Top of the City (entrance in the South Stand main reception). It’s free, we’ll have a licensed bar, Giant Jenga & various games to play plus of course our usual raffle for the CSF. If that isn’t enough to tempt you, we have superfan Jacob Bowles with his ‘’On the Stall City’’ selling lots of NCFC memorabilia plus we also have car rally Team U Pukki who will run the ‘’Play Your Cards Right” game. They are all trying to raise their sponsorship cash for their CSF car rally trips in October so we thought this was a good opportunity to support them. This event rounds off another busy season for us fan social club volunteers & we’d like nothing more for lots of you to join us. Remember you don’t have to join our fans social club, you just need to join in !
