lappinitup 629 Posted February 25, 2014 It was lovely walking through the City...except for one thing...the stench of stale urine. [:S] Now, pant wetting is all very well but the problem is, when it dries out it becomes very smelly. St Stephens and the market were bad enough but inside Castle Mall it was unbearable. Regular whiffs down Rose Lane and Prince of Wales Rd and all along Riverside, people with face masks on and some even with pegs on their noses, everywhere, little dried puddles on the pavements but amazingly, once I got to the football ground the air was completely clear. What does that tell you huh?Yep, today brought back many happy memories from yesteryear of those old smelly loo''s outside the Barclay and the River End wafting the delightful aroma of second-hand Bullards, S&P and Morgans. The only difference between those days and now was that the old boys waited until they got to the ground before they released their pent-up passion whereas nowadays, even the teamsheet can bring on incontinence. YankeeCanary 0 Posted February 25, 2014 Lapp, I was a Whitbread''s man myself. It gave a far better quality of second hand odor.
Guest Posted February 25, 2014 I was young and enjoyed a few pints of Gaymers before a game and left a nice apple scent.
