Momentum!

Recommended Posts

One thing is for sure - we will all be able to see if the sacking of Di Canio brings Sunderland momentum with the introduction or a new manager.

Won''t help our position none if it does!

He who dares wins!

I remember the same being said about his appointment. Wasn''t you was it?

Definitely not NN, cannot abide the man. Post made due to the fact several mentioned on here today that little momentum is gained from sacking a manager - now we will see that argument tested particularly if CH remains in situ.

LOL

When they appointed him they got momentum for a couple of games if I remember rightly. If they get another couple of games momentum this time it''s a long way ''til the end of the season.

I think this momentum stuff is a bit of an old wives tail to be fair. Sometimes a manager works out and sometimes he doesn''t. We looked at it to see if there was an angle for betting. Was it really true that clubs won more often after sacking a manager or appointing a new one? I found no real angle there. So I''m not gonna chase my five bob on them next weekend[;)]
