"Javier Garrido has completed his loan move to Norwich City after being granted international clearance. The former Manchester City full-back has joined the Canaries on a season-long deal from Lazio and is now available for selection in Saturday''s match against Queens Park Rangers.Norwich last week announced the signing of Garrido , subject to a work permit, after boss Chris Hughton had previously made it clear the left-back was a transfer target.Having completed the move for the 27-year-old, he could be in contention to take the place of Marc Tierney after the latter''s poor performance in the thrashing by Fulham.Norwich said on their official Twitter account: "Defender Javier Garrido has received international clearance and will be eligible for selection for Saturday''s game versus QPR."" Zachariah Lovespoon 0 Posted August 22, 2012 Someone at sky sports is obviously out of their depth if they think international clearance is the same as a work permit. Garrido is Spanish and so doesn''t need a work permit, which is issued by ukba. International clearance is the transfer of his registration between national football associations.
