Indy 3,471 Posted May 31, 2012 Let’s look at this form a positive point of view. Lambert has done a fantastic job, he has brought in players who have performed in this league. We have a second seaon in the biggest league! We will be debt free by next year! Ground to be redeveloped if we have one more season in the top flight! A change of manager might just save us from the second season syndrome, freshen things up and motivate the players, after all not all is well inside the walls of Carrow Road, Holt, Morison & Tierney to name a few issues. Even with Lambert moving on to the most poisoned position in this league, he will as someone already pointed out have to deal with some huge ego’s in his squad, and from the board, will he cope with that? Can he cope with pressure (something he has not had here ), expectation and a minimum budget? Personally I hope if moves he will be a success as I genuinely like the man, but I can see him flopping and out of work by January another Walker! So if he comes back to raid us for the players he considers worthy of Villa, they won’t come cheap, money into the new managers coffers, again this we have to thank Lambert and his team, we have a team of players worth a lot of money! In all if he does go, a big thank you for what you have done, it’s the wrong choice as highlighted by those who have turned away from the Villa job and consider that you were not Villa’s first choice you will always have that added pressure to perform. Culverhouse your time has come to step up as the Norwich manager and go get Bowen as your number two, QPR & Mark Hughes is not for you Bowen, come home!
