Canary 0 Posted May 19, 2012 Its been repeatedly said for the last 3 years how great the norwich team spirit is, and its been a major cause of our successes in that period.But im concerned that the events of the last few weeks may have considerably damaged it:Holt''s transfer request, in some sense, is saying to Norwich that Grant thinks he''s better than us. Although thats not by peronal opinion of the motive behind the request, it is an opinion that might be shared by some of the ncfc players.Lamberts constant consideration for jobs up and down the country cant do any favours for the players. It must be a disruptive influence on the team, with the future always being in doubt.With ruddy behind in the Euro squad, could a sense of envy settle in? Its clear holt was bitterly disappointed with not getting the call, and his interview in which he said ''norwich isnt a big enough club to get me an international call up'' (or something along those lines) could be an indication that the team spirit is breaking down.Im extremely concerned for next year.
