ncfc-tom 12 Posted December 5, 2011 Im not convinced our formations are helping, diamond has worked well for 2 seasons, but not really playable in the prem. 4-4-2 we seem to lack the players, I feel we should try the Christmas tree......RuddyDe-laet Martin Barnett tierneyFox crofts Johnson Hooly Bennett Morison or holtThis will give protection and attacking options.Any thoughts
YellowLittle1 0 Posted December 6, 2011 I wouldn''t leave Pilkington out, think he has been top this season, also think having one man up front has been a problem this year, but it''s worth a go, I would maybe have crofts and Johnson pushing up whenever they can.I don''t think the german formation is doing too bad, I think the problem we have is we lose shape way too easy when we are defending. Salopian 1 Posted December 6, 2011 I would always givePilkington priority .over Bennett, mainly because of his greater scoring ability.Otherwise the only doubt I have is that given our ability to score from heraders from crosses, who will supply the crosses? Johnson does like playing wide, and would be lost to the defence, Hooly arguably shouldn''t. Are we to rely on Fox on the right?
