BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted November 16, 2010 I haven''t seen anybody else on here remark on this.On our TV feed (Fox Sports Plus) they showed referee Oliver in close-up blowing his whistle for half-time in the Reading match and then raising his eyes not once but twice. He blew, he raised his eyes to the heavens/sky, looked down, then raised his eyes quite deliberately again to the heavens for a longer moment this time before eventually gathering himself to walk off.It was just one of those instinctive episodes which tend to open the way into a persons mind. My wife noticed it and remarked on it at the time as well.I just record our observation of a little incident which jarred a little at the time. Do we have any psychologist on board who would like to hazard an interpretation?Me. I reckon he was saying to himself ''Thank God that disaster is over'' followed by ''Please oh please forgive me''. Tim Allman 1 Posted November 16, 2010 I watched the game at the Red Lion in Islington, and commented the same thing, (but without all the psychology stuff), - that the ref knew he''d got it badly wrong, and was dreading walking off.
