Not worried in the slightest about 0-0's in friendlies

Sounds like last nights game was a bit of a damp squib.

Personally not worried at all about draws v lower league teams or lack of goals from Jackson.

Fact is that we have played propoerly and put out our proper team once so far in pre-season and that was against newcastle. The result was a good performance, good creativity and a decent win.

All of the other games have been fitness building or Lambo looking at/giving a chance to the fringe players. These haven''t told us much we don''t know. Macnamee has looked decent, some of the kids are a way off being ready and generally the likes of Gill and OTJ are not going to be good enough at champ level.

Not worried about Jackson not scoring. He looked lively v Newcastle and apart from that has barely had 5 minutes on the pitch with a decent midfield behind him. When he does have that, and gets the service, he will score goals.

Whitbread''s fitness is a bit of a worry but Nelson has looked a bit better in pre-season than I expected so maybe can do a job at the start of the season.

I would think we will play the proper team again on saturday against Everton. We probably won''t win that but if not then that won''t be a disaster either!
