... Well, where do i start, the first 10 mins we dominated and looked a far better side and i think the first goal stunned the players, the 2nd so soon after killed their confidence and they gave up from then on.

While most fans at the ground seemed to point to Theoklitos as being the worst of our players i think a great majority of the blame must lay at the defense, it was bloody shocking.

You can''t play Doc and Nelson together, they''re far far too slow. Semmy played the most idiotic back pass i''ve seen from a defender for their first also.

Theo wasn''t great by any standards but i don''t feel he was as terrible as fans were making out and how they got on his back was disgraceful at times, way to kill the blokes confidence after one game.

Whaley for me was pretty in-effective, although to be fair he didn''t see a massive amount of the ball, OTJ wasn''t terrible and is still worth a place in the side, Gill... bar one mis-placed pass i don''t think he was terrible either, Hoolahan was again the only real bright spark though.

Martin shouldn''t be partnering Holt IMO and was completely in-effective, Cody looked much better when he came on and IMO now needs to be Holt''s regular partner.

So what would i do if i was manager??? Well i''d replace Semmy with Spillane and put in Askou alongside one of Nelson or Doc and i''d also give Wiggins a try if he''s fit.

The midfield i think is worth another game, especially as it''s only a league cup game tuesday, if not them try Hughes and Adeyemi and as i mentioned Cody must start alongside Holt from now on.

It was a very very bad day for an NCFC fan but all is not lost and the fact the next two games are away could almost help the team as IMO they''re going to get nothing from the fans now. 

As for Gunn... he needs to pull out some spectacular man management skills before our next game.

Well Lambo that''s a pretty fair post and you have managed to squeeze some positives where I could see very little so thanks for that.

The big problem is Gunn and his coaching staff. I was going to give them 10 games but if i had the power I would get rid now.

Listening to Gunn on Radio Carrot depressed me even more. That man could never inspire me to do anything, let alone play football.

He''s a chancer and a bloody boring one at that.

I''m coming round to that way of thinking mate, Gunn for me today was today has already lost himself half of the 10 games i was giving him and his post match comments wern''t at all great and like you said didn''t give you faith he can turn things around.
