adomah/demetriou

Recommended Posts

City have been linked to both these young wingers, i dont know much about them but sky link us to a failed bid for adomah.

Are either any good? What does this mean about our current squad and the potential transfer of whaley?

I can''t see us gtting either of these players, both are wanted by Championship clubs. So if team Gunn got one of them it would be impressive.

Demetriou sounds very good.

O''S YOUTH team product Jason really caught the eye with his progress last term, which saw him pick up the club''s Young Player of the Year award.

In just his second year as a professional, Newham-born midfielder Demetriou started 31 League games and was a used sub in 12 more - a total that was only bettered by Adam Chambers and Adam Boyd.

An extremely versatile player capable of playing in central midfield, on either wing, or at right back, Jason was handed his first team debut during the 2005/06 season as reward for an impressive 18 months in the youth and reserve teams.

Most of his opportunities last term came on the left flank and Jason also has a great eye for goal - scoring a remarkable 17 times, mostly from full-back, for the youth and reserve sides in 2004/05. He has since backed this up with six senior strikes.

A set-piece specialist who supports the attack well and can pass with both feet, Jason is sure to be an integral part of the O''s team during 2008/09.

In February 2009, Demetriou earned his first call-up to the Cyprus squad, making his international debut in a 2-0 defeat to Serbia.

Squad No: 20
