Chewbacca 0 Posted June 30, 2009 We now have a healthy proportion of the first team squad made up of youth teamers progressing through the ranks, which in my opinion is excellent! I think we''d all love to see some of the lads break into the team successfully.I''ve not seen any of the youth team or reserve games but wondered if any other posters here are familiar with any of these players, and might be able to suggest what they could bring to the team (in time obviously!) and which of those may look particularly promising etc. Are we now going for an approach in which we sign them all up up and hope a couple come good? Or are they all genuinely talented players with a chance of breaking into the side? Captain Holt 522 Posted June 30, 2009 Well most of the lads we have on contracts helped the youth team on the magnificent cup run last year against some of the best sides in the country didn''t they?I''m all for youth being given a chance because at the end of the day some of these boys will be the future of our club.
