birdman 0 Posted February 15, 2009 Stupid Decisions are the reasons for where we are now, when Roeder arrived he removed everyone who did not agree with his opinion or way of thinking; he removed the reserves from the league and said that the reserves would play regularly against local opposition. People on here are now attacking Gunn who is trying to rectify some of the mistakes by putting a background team together and trying to get the football team to play with confidence and a smile on their faces. In my opinion removing the reserves from the league was a massive mistake, the fringe players and the players returning from injury do not have a way of getting match fit, where are the games against local opposition that were going to replace these matches. Why did we not stay in the league and add to these matches with local games, people then wonder why players return and look off the pace and unfit. In any club continuity is a major factor; I think it might be too late for Gunn to repair the damage that Mr. Roeder inflicted on the club, but good luck to him.
