Can we have the green cushions back?

Those were the days when the occupants of the old Main Stand hurled their green cushions onto the pitch in disgust or towards the tunnel if they were unhappy with the ref or linesmen. Then the FA notices would be stuck on the walls of the old Main stand telling the city fans to behave!

The old cushions would have come in very handy if you were in range of the director’s box.  

Alas the antics in the City Stand these days don’t amount to very much more than a ruff and tumble over the custard cream at half time.
