I''m glad that so far nobody is interested enough to bite.

Because that may well mean that I am wrong or, perhaps, that I am repeating an observation![:)]

By the way, do any of the older posters remember a Mr J. H. Phillips of Deopham who had ''a formula'' that he had worked out to predict City''s fortunes in various different areas? He used to write letters to the Pink''Un in the 1960s I think (could have been ''50s into ''70s - can''t quite remember), which were frequently published and the subject of many lively discussions.

I wonder if he passed on his interesting formula to anyone?
