Happy to lose! You must be mad

Recommended Posts

I am astonished at the posts claming that fans are pleased we lost last night. I for one am glad you lot are not our manager.

The only good that will come from this loss is hopefully the gaffer will put such a rocket up the players asre''s that they wouldn''t dare do anything but die for the cause on Saturday.

We were on a great run, undefeated in 9 games we had a winning mentality we had a battling mentality and we had a never say die mentality running through the team. How a loss to such a lowly rated, mangerless team can do anything but dent those mentalities is beyond me.

What we need to remember is that this squad is still packed full of very average players. The good thing is the manager has been getting the maximum out of them.

To many fan kid themselves that our team is really good and that we have just been underachieving. Rubbish I say. We have been overachieving in my view most of the time or playing at the very peek of what the players are capable of.

This is thanks to the skills and fantastic man management of Mr Roeder. He was clear that the defeat last night was not in his plans. He isn''t I''m sure secretly happy. He has now to lift those players again ahead of a very difficult and very crucial game against a team just below us.

We should always want to win every game. And kidding yourselves that a loss to a team like Bury is ok is utter bollocks.

Answer me this if we were playing Liverpool last night at Carrow Road would you still want us to lose. If we were 1 nil up with 10 mins to go. Of course not. Win, win, win thats what our ethos should be, not this never mind we don''t need the extra games crap. And the we are never going to win the cup anyway line is also a load of crap. Why even enter the cup next year if that''s the attitude.

To many fans with heads in the sand. The result was crap. End of.
