This isn't Roeder's honeymoon period

Recommended Posts

Generally speaking, manager''s enjoy around a 3 match honeymoon period.

Example: Peter Grant- Birmingham (win), Cardiff (win), Port Vale (penalty defeat). After that, very much downward stuff to say the least.

Roeders first 3 matches- Ipswich (draw), Watford and Plymouth (defeats).

My point? Roeder never had a honeymoon period, unless you call 1 point of out 9 a good run of results, despite good performances, apart from Plymouth. We are very much into the Roeder era at Carra Road, this ain''t no honeymoon period, as one or two seem to be thinking- and (running the risk of cursing us here)- we are not going to be cut off at the bottom again- because we are a better side with a far better manager.

Let''s be loud on tuesday night: the Glen Roeder era is well and truelly underway, and if he does save us, which I have no doubt he will, I''ll be starting the campaign for the knighthood of Mr Roeder, or at least the freedom of the city!
