Wandsworth Canary 0 Posted October 9, 2007 Bewteen 1992 and 2005, 536 managers were fired in all four division and the win % of the manager was between 30% and 36% with an average of 34%. Ignoring cup games I make Grant record to be 45 games and 15 wins (33%). As suggestions are being put forward for new managers, I would also like posters to quote their win % for comparison. If you have a look at http://www.wbs.ac.uk/downloads/research/football-managers-0106.pdf (where the above info comes from) on page 13 you may be suprised by some of the win% quoted for the top 25 manager between 1992 and 2005. I for one would not have predicted some of the names on the list - Barry Fry!!A few starters to hopefully get the ball rollingPeter Taylor 482 games 199 wins 41% average (exc England)Paul Jewell - 446 games 145 wins 33% averageGlen Hoddle - 504 games 192 wins 38% average (exc England)Micky Adams - 435 games 168 wins 39% average.
