No sign of the youngsters - sounds familiar

Once again yesterday there was no sign of any of our bright youngsters on the bench.  I am afraid Grant is becoming like Worthington in his preference to stick with his tried and trusted and ignore the youngsters.  Personally I thought there was no imagination from our midfield of  Russell, Lappin and Chadwick and they could have played all day without creating anything worthwhile.

I certainly think that Spillane and Rossi Jarvis ( who both scored in the wek for the reserves) can add something a bit different to what was on show yesterday.

Finally, Young Martin who showed last season that he can run at defences as well as score, has also disappeared off the radar.

Come on Grant at least give these youngsters a chance to show what they have. If you are picking your team based on the players performances at Colney then some of your more experienced players are clearly not bringing those performances to the game on Saturday.  Good managers are not afraid to give youngsters a chance.
