norfolkchance1 0 Posted August 27, 2007 I wonder whether Grant would consider buying Kenny Miller from Celtic apparently he''s on transfer list. He always seemed to have a habit of scoring important goals and was quite useful at championship level. I still believe (against popular opinion) that we could probably do with another striker. We only have one option with any real pace up front as Dion, Brown and Strihavka are not quick. Grant has plenty of contacts at Celtic maybe that could swing any deal our way. I would also like to see Strihavka get a start as well sometime soon, Brown has not been great in either of the away games I have seen this season and I think it would be good for Strihavkas confidence if he was given a start, we only threatened once Dublin was introduced on Saturday and Strihavka wasn''t given enough time. Northern Canary 0 Posted August 27, 2007 Is he not a key player for celtic? I would rather have Riordan at probably a cheaper price.
Carlos Valderrama 0 Posted August 28, 2007 Saw this on teletext this morning. Apparantly has been told he can leave Celtic along with Tommy Graveson and someone else. I say go for Graveson and Miller, really push the boat out. I agree it would be a gamble, but I reckon one worth taking.
