ruddster 0 Posted August 3, 2007 Oh dear, I had my doubts but tonight has truly underlined them. The bright spots first: Ostemobor, Brellier and Marshall but it ends there i''m afraid. David the Striker is no better on tonights and Tuesdays evidence than the players we already have, infact Brown has overshadowed him and believe me Brown will never be a prolific goalscorer either. The biggest concern is the midfield supply which is non existent. Russell is busy but unfortunately busy passing sidewards and backwards. Fotheringham has the same capabilities minus the ability to pass sidewards! Brellier is a great buy but he is a defensive midfielder so we''d better hope that Jimmy Smith is some player - capable of scoring 15 plus goals a season and with the ability to actually pass a ball forward!!
