now, i dont wish to sound ungrateful for all the extra money we will be getting or the fact that we will be playing at a decent-ish sort of time but the change in kick off time smacks of pure hypocrisy.  

i mean, we normally have to play at 11.45 or 12 noon for these derby games because of safety fears etc, but hang on... if we get told by sky that we have to play it an hour later, we do! what happened to all that advice from police, all those worries that an hour drinking will cause riots, does that not matter now we will be getting  a bit of extra cash from sky.

as i said, i welcome the cash and the extra hour i will get before the game but whats going to happen next season (maybe) when they try and tell us that we have to play at a quarter to twelve because of safety concerns, its gonna sound rather false, isn''t it?

I think the time that we kicked off before 12 was because sky had 3 games to fit in on the Sunday so our match was shifted forward 1/2hour.
