Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted March 1, 2007 That is, apparently, the Premiership wage bill for 11 players per team.I heard this on the radio today as a campaigner is getting 11 Premiership players per team to cough up a days pay to help student nurses. This is all being done surreptitiously through the Club books. The target figure is 1.5 million.The average is around 2k per day although the top earners are on around 20k per day.What about the squads as a whole though? I wonder what the overall daily wage bill is?Did anyone else hear this?Football isn''t so much pricing itself out as distancing itself from supporters.
