Saint Canary 0 Posted December 29, 2006 If the club made £2.5m profit last season, how come Delia had to lend the club £50k to buy Robinson plus the money to pay his wages?I understand the answer could lie in the sale of Ashton but if we are to beleive the following it just doesn''t seem right;West Ham are paying in installments.Crewe took a cut of the fee.Ashton money went on the purchase of Earnshaw (an installment).Ashton money paid the wages for the January loan players. Ashton got money from the deal.We still made £2.5m profit (more with tax). It just doesn''t seem right. Anyone better at this???
